BOOKING VISITS TO MUSEUMS OF FLORENCE
The museums of Florence are divided into State Museums and City Museums.
BOOKINGS FOR STATE MUSEUMS OF FLORENCE
You can contact the booking service of the State Museum directly by phone 0039-055-294883, or FAX 0039-055-264406. the hours are from 8:30 until 18:00. The number is very often engaged!! So please insist. The cost of booking by phone is €3,00 independent of the ticket price.
You can book via email visiting the web site www.weekendafirenze.com Besides ticket bookings, you will find information on events, history shopping, etc. The cost of booking via email is € 4.77 independent of the ticket price. We advise you to book your museum tickets at least 3 or 4 days prior to your visit. For the Uffizi museum reserve 1 or 2 months prior.
For some museums there is a possibility to buy cumulative tickets with discounts to several museums.
CUMULATIVE TICKETS
The cumulative tickets are:· Cumulative ticket to Palazzo Pitti Museum - Galleria Palatina, Galleria d'arte Moderna, Galleria del costume, Musei degli Argenti, Gardino di Boboli and Museo delle Porcellane.- €10.33 valid 3 days from purchase date.
FREE ENTRANCE
Entrance is free to European Community citizens, children under 18yrs and adults over 65yrs. For non EC citizens, entrance is free for children under 6yrs. You need to pay only the reservation tickets is Euro 3,00 each person. For more information visit the website
